Caring for your Candles

Caring for your Candles

Here are some easy tips to maximise the performance of your candle:
  • Upon the first burn, always allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to the edges of the glass to create a melt pool. This will effectively assist in preventing tunnelling and help promote an even burn for the duration of the candle's life.
  • Trim your wicks to 5mm before each burn
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Discontinue use then 10-12mm of wax remains in the bottom of the jar
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended, or on/near anything flammable.
  • Place on a heat resistant surface when burning.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Upcycle your jar once your candle is finished by using it as a pen holder, a container to store your makeup brushes and cotton tips, a pot plant, etc.
