Caring for your Candles
Here are some easy tips to maximise the performance of your candle:
- Upon the first burn, always allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to the edges of the glass to create a melt pool. This will effectively assist in preventing tunnelling and help promote an even burn for the duration of the candle's life.
- Trim your wicks to 5mm before each burn
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Discontinue use then 10-12mm of wax remains in the bottom of the jar
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, or on/near anything flammable.
- Place on a heat resistant surface when burning.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Upcycle your jar once your candle is finished by using it as a pen holder, a container to store your makeup brushes and cotton tips, a pot plant, etc.
